Independent Contractor Agreement
Effective upon account creation
Independent Contractor Relationship
You acknowledge and agree that you are performing services for MissionArmy as an independent contractor, not as an employee. You are not entitled to employee benefits, employment insurance, workers compensation, or any other benefits associated with employment.
Control of Work
You retain full control over how you complete missions, including the methods, timing, and tools used — provided those methods comply with the mission brief and these terms. MissionArmy specifies the deliverable but not the specific means of achieving it.
Tax Responsibilities
As an independent contractor, you are solely responsible for all taxes arising from compensation paid to you by MissionArmy, including but not limited to income tax and self-employment tax in your jurisdiction. MissionArmy may issue tax documentation required by applicable law.
Use of Own Accounts
When completing missions on third-party platforms, you must use your own real accounts and your own real identity. You may not create fake accounts, impersonate others, or engage in any activity that violates the terms of service of the third-party platform. MissionArmy is not liable for any consequences you experience from your activities on third-party platforms.
Disclosure of Brand Relationships
Where required by the platform rules of any service you use to complete a mission, you must disclose any brand relationship or commercial connection in your content. MissionArmy will specify in mission briefs where disclosure is required.
Confidentiality
You agree not to disclose to any third party the identity of clients for whom missions are performed, the content of mission briefs marked as confidential, or any proprietary information shared with you in the course of completing missions.
Non-Exclusivity
This agreement is non-exclusive. You are free to provide similar services to other platforms or clients, provided that doing so does not conflict with active confidentiality obligations.
